Infant Nap Gaps Guide

So much of my Care It Out method is centred around ensuring that your Small is as prepared for nighttime sleep as they possibly can be. A HUGE (probably the biggest) factor in this is how their daytime naps go. If they’re on top of their daytime sleep they are ready for their nighttime sleep - with the sought after state of being not overtired but tired enough!

So I have created a video ALL about Infant Nap Gaps.

Watch the video below - I really hope it helps you!

Once you’ve watched and understood my Nap Gaps approach, use this handy Nap Gaps Table as a guide:

I’m super passionate about making my nap gap guide accessible for all, and I really hope you got some insight from watching. My intention with all the sleep support I put out there is that it's useful and reassuring for you.
I believe my nap gaps are a really great guide. But as with all thing’s related to Small’s sleep…they're not the gospel!
Your Small’s nap gaps and needs are as individual as they are. It’s not about shoehorning them into the nap gaps if they aren’t working for them.

They may need a slightly earlier gap or perhaps even a slightly later gap. They are all different and what works for one may not work for another. They don’t come with a manual (how useful would that be!), because they are the manual! AKA the bed boss.

Please use the nap gaps as a guide (this actually goes for any of my sleep resources!) but also be guided by them. And yes, this can take some trial and error to find out what works for you, your Small and their sleep, but it’s totally worth the payoff.
